Pixel micro recorder

The Pixel recorder LED controller allows you to transmit a full universe of Radio DMX control to a strip of 5V addressable LEDs. The Pixel Micro recorder is a small device measuring just 25mm wide.  However, it can record patterns to two memory locations within the device.

Once connected to a lighting desk via Radio DMX, patterns can be streamed to the controller. If required a pattern can then be recorded and looped so that it does not have to be connected to the radio network to run.

Because it will run in standalone mode, it can be used for smaller effects/light patterns left running across sets.  As it runs addressable LEDs, you can program any effect/pattern you want. For example, you can put the controllers on a playback sequence and place in a fireplace to run a continuous flickering fire effect.

However, this device has been created for more interactive props as there are two inputs on it which can be used to trigger the programmes that are already stored. For example, you could store a pattern which simulates a pull on a trigger of a gun. And you can watch the gun then charge up and fire.
