At EMP, we’re regularly asked to develop bespoke LED arrays for applications where standard LED strip simply isn’t suitable. While off-the-shelf solutions can work for linear layouts, more complex geometries often require a fully custom approach.
Because we design and manufacture all of our electronics in-house—including PCB development and pick-and-place assembly—we’re able to create LED arrays tailored precisely to a client’s required size, shape, and performance criteria.
This project is a good example: a pyramid-shaped LED array designed to deliver uniform illumination across a three-dimensional form. Each face of the structure is populated with carefully arranged LEDs to maintain consistency and visual balance across the surface.
The system can also be pixel-controlled, allowing dynamic patterns, animations, and effects to run seamlessly across the pyramid. This transforms a static structure into a fully programmable lighting feature, opening up a wide range of creative possibilities.
