Helping 7th Farnborough Scouts earn their electronics badges

A little practical support can spark a lot of enthusiasm. We were delighted to donate soldering irons and torch kits to the Scout section at 7th Farnborough, giving the Scouts the chance to try soldering and make something they could take home.

The leaders shared some lovely feedback following the session: all 22 Scouts who attended earned their electronics badge. They enjoyed getting hands-on with the soldering, and were pleased to leave with their own torch.

The group’s leaders sent their thanks:

“Thanks again, from all the leaders at 7th Farnborough’s Scout section, for donating the soldering irons and torch kits.”

It’s wonderful to hear that the equipment helped make the session a success.

Congratulations to all 22 Scouts on earning their badges, and thank you to the leaders for sharing the results and giving the group the opportunity to learn new skills.

We’re proud to have played a small part in their achievement.
