Our plug-top dimmer makes radio control of tungsten light fixtures on film/TV sets easy. We’ve been asked by a number of lighting gaffers and designers to come up with an “easy-to-use” radio lamp dimmer for period dramas. So we developed a small (100mm × 55mm × 42 mm) plug-top dimmer that provides accurate trailing-edge dimming while incorporating overload and over-temperature protection. The dimmer can be simply plugged into the original outlet, and a lamp can be plugged into the plug-top dimmer to immediately enable radio control of that light. As with many of our products, we work closely with LumenRadio to ensure fast and reliable radio control.

The Plug Top Dimmer can take a maximum tungsten load of 200W.

This product has now been discontinued and superseded by the PT100, our latest-generation dimmer. The PT100 is available from our authorised distributor, LCA.
